  • Can I use a mobile phone?

    Our Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. In consideration to other spa guests, please do not use mobile phones.
  • What is the minimum age for a Spa treatment?

    The minimum age for spa treatments is 6 years old. A parent or guardian must accompany children for the duration of their visit.
  • What should I do before a treatment?

    We recommend you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment so you can enjoy our Spa facilities. We highly recommend you use steam room and sea water pool before your treatment to warm up and relax your muscles.
  • ... and afterwards?

    After your treatment the therapist will accompany you back to the relaxation area where we recommend that you do absolutely nothing. Simply enjoy the feeling of rest and relaxation and let your thoughts run free!
  • What should I bring with me?

    Upon your arrival you will be provided with a bathrobe and sandals as well as your locker for your clothing and personal belongings. You will also find soft cotton towels throughout the spa area. Discreet disposable underwear is provided for all body treatments. You can find additional amenities in our locker areas such deodorant, mouthwash and hairstyling products. We recommend you bring your bathing suit so you can enjoy our wet facilities
  • Will I need to tell you about any medical conditions?

    You will be asked to complete our medical questionnaire prior to your treatment, as certain treatments may not be suitable for you. It is also recommended to inform The Spa reception at booking stage of any medical conditions. We will be more than happy to advise safer alternatives.
  • When should I make a reservation?

    Please make sure to make your reservation as early as possible as to avoid disappointment.
  • Are there any treatments that I can receive during pregnancy?

    Our inspirational services for mommy to be are adapted to each stage of pregnancy.
  • Are there any programs specially designed for bride & groom?

    Our Playa Grande Spa is proud to offer unique and full-service pampering programs to help you both prepare for your big day as well as relax and unwind after the event.
  • *WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

    Playa Grande Spa By Solmar Spa provides robes and sandals. All you will need to bring is your swimsuit.
  • *HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR A SPA TREATMENT?

    We suggest that you check the SPA GUIDE section of each premises.
  • *SHOULD I ALERT SOMEONE IF I HAVE ANY PHYSICAL AILMENTS, DISABILITIES OR ALLERGIES?

    If you have high blood pressure, suffer from allergies or if you are pregnant, notify the spa receptionist prior to booking.
  • *DO I HAVE TO DISROBE ENTIRELY?

    You can wear a bathing suit if this would make you more comfortable, but keep in mind that our therapists are trained to drape towels or sheets discreetly over any areas not involved in the treatment and to protect your privacy at all times.
  • *WHAT IS THE TIPPING POLICY?

    A 15% service charge can be added to all spa treatments, which includes gratuities for the service provider as well as the spa staff.
  • *WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS?

    Please be sure to notify our spa staff at the time of booking reservations. Some medical conditions may require consulting with your physician prior to receiving spa services.
  • *CAN I REQUEST A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST FOR MY SPA TREATMENTS?

    Absolutely. Please specify at the time of booking your spa reservations. Please keep in mind that our therapists are fully trained to keep any areas that are not involved in the services conservatively draped at all times during your treatment.
  • *ARE THERE ANY SPA SERVICES I CAN RECEIVE WHILE PREGNANT?

    Absolutely. You might want to consider our Mother-to-Be massage for your day of relaxation. We recommend any of our facial or salon services. We advise you avoid any spa treatments that involve deep pressure or heat.
  • *SHOULD I NEED TO SHAVE PRIOR TO MY TREATMENT?

    Shaving is not necessary, but it is recommended for facials. We do encourage shaving at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled treatment.
  • *CAN I ASK THE THERAPIST TO ADJUST TO MY COMFORT LEVEL?

    Absolutely. Whether it is the room temperature, the music volume or the massage pressure, please do not hesitate to ask. This is your time and we would like you to enjoy your experience to the fullest.
  • *WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AFTER I CHECK IN FOR MY SERVICE?
